This is the first in my series of collages I am calling "Holy Cow". Being a farmer and understanding that God's hand is in everything that happens here, I thought it was fitting to create works on the subject. This is the first in the series.

First Entry

Welcome to my Catholic art blog. I have just returned to the church, being confirmed in 2007. I still find my journey difficult but am working on submitting. In the meantime I enjoy reading Catholic blogs, magazines and the such. After much exploring of other beliefs and churches the Catholic church keeps calling me home.

My art started out as an exploration and I suppose in many ways it continues to be. Right now my main focus is collage.

Above was created from a commerical construction magazine, clippings and a plastic crusafix. I found it quit fitting. It is 5"x7" on canvas board, wired with a wire hanger and ready to grace your home. I have it for sale for $20.00. Contact me if you are interested.
